I do realize you do not answer emails. But just for the record.
1. YOU! yourself told me that if I pay in half of the adm fee I could pay the balance when the loan was paid over. Now you are contradicting.
2. YOU! yourself told me that the payment was being processed, and the staff member who had to release the payment was on lunch.
The message below is what I am sending out! As I said "just for the record":
However, we as a newspaper are governed by a code of conduct with regards to misleading advertisements. Any advertisement deemed misleading must be reported to the ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) of South Africa.
You need to email or phone them and then lodge your written complaint. The ASA would then do their own investigation and advise us whether we should stop taking ads from this client based on their investigation.
With regards to warning readers about this particular client, we are not able to single out any advertiser but what we can do is run an advertisement in the column warning readers to do proper research on Loan Companies before parting with their hard earned cash.
