i also received an sms, like everyone. i never took it serious up until my wife told me about an sms which our nanny received. That is criminal 'cause these people are playing on others emotional and steal their money. i hope they get caught. what was the purpose of RICA if we still get such scams. Some red tape is only to protect others but not all of us. this is animal farm.

I also received this sms this morning. I thought it was too good to be true so I googled the number they asked me to call and I'm glad I found out it was a hoax. They used a new number to send the sms this time though: 0715439052. I thought I'd list it in case anyone gets the same message and googles the number. The rest of the message is as follows: "Congrats!Your mobile No has won R250,00 on this Year Nokia Promotion with Ticket No: 0166p call 0717199667 for your prize claim 8am-5.30pm"
