Loan Hub SA, Loanspotter SA etc

Be careful of this website. They enter you into an agreement just upon inquiry. then they do not even help you with your loan. There is no way to get hold of them to cancel and if you do they tell you you still owe and then within a few days they hand you over and demand the money from you in a ridiculous amount of time. You cannot get hold of them or the lifestyle legal that they hand you over to. Then they send you a court summons if you do not pay. No-one will answer your questions yet they can email you every consecutive day.

Can anything be done to stop them? Can they really blacklist your name? Is lifestyle legal a legit company? Please can someone help who may know more or been in the same experience.

They are targeting people who need the money most just to survive. I hope they can sleep at night.

@worried92293 the very same thing happened to me and i received an sms late last night giving me a final demand and that if i do not pay them within 24hours, they will list me on TransUnion which is quite concerning as i don't want my credit affected. I see there are lots of comms, have any of you actually gone to court? do we just ignore the demanding emails and sms's?

No I havent paid them but I keep getting emails saying they are going to hand me over and I will have to go to court etc... I get about 1-2 emails a week. They phoned me to arrange payment on two weekes ago on Saturday afternoon I told them to call me back during working hours in the week and then they phoned me again at 7pm at night on a Thursday and I was driving and told again to call me back at a decent hour! The lady was very rude to me and said 'this is working hours for debt collectors'. Still have yet to receive another call at a decent hour. Nor do they reply to questions and quieries I have asked via email I just get the generic replies. I am not sure if this is going to reflect negatively on me or not? I have no idea what to do. Has anything happened to you?

I think they are scammers. I also browsed their site and put my details , thinking I am applying for a loan, then sent me forms to fill and I never filled those forms because I found another company which was willing to help me. A few days they debited R399 from my account and I went to the bank to stop and reverse it. They sent me a letter of demand that I owe them R1400. I phoned Lifestyle Legal and asked what was this about and they said by browsing their site and filling online form I was entering into an agreement with them. I said I will pay R50 per because I am not employed.. I think this is scam site.
