OLX sale scam

miketechstore@hotmail.com apparantly "mike" sold laptops and other consoles. I enquired as i was highly interested, i wanted to fetch the laptop personally but he refused. The "office" was in Cape Town and he advertised in JHB CBD. He wanted me to transfer the money, then he would ship the product and give me a tracking number. I then asked for more photos and references as i wasn't convinced. He then gave me fake references and pictures of the unit which he had downloaded from the internet. Luckily my gut feel and common knowledge made me realise that this was a scam. Be aware, always do cash on delivery when dealing with sites such as olx, gumtree and Junkmail. This idiots number is 0618428785.
His references might be people working with him:

I had put up for sale on OLX bar stools and a dressing table. Within mins of the ad going on I received a message to email 'tomdavid051@gmail.com'. He had recently moved to China and would like to buy the stools and my dresser. He said he did not have access to a bank account due to his line of work (?) and that he would pay me via a paypal account that I would need to open. As soon as he has done the transfer a shipping company would come and fetch the furniture to ship to him in China.
The next day (today) I received another email from a Kyle Smith email 'alwaysgoodn1@gmail.com'.
He was also interested in the stools for his cousin, and wanted to buy them as a surprise, but he worked on an oil rig and did not have a bank account (but seemingly is able to look online at OLX) and that he has a payfast account and I should open one so he can make the transfer and then a shipping company would come and fetch the stools to deliver to his cousin.
I declined on both saying 'apologies, but I've read about scams just like this and if you are genuine well sorry' I have not as yet heard a response from either.
