Scammed when buying a Camera

I was looking for a Video Camera to purchase. When I saw an advert with quite reasonable price I responded and a certain guy called Jeffrey called and said I must visit their webpage which I did. I was quite amazed and I then placed an order. I received the invoice with the total amount including delivery. It occur to me that I should not continue with the payment because of the pressure when they kept on phoning asking when am I making the payment. I subsequently make the payment and waited for my order. Two days later a received a call from a certain lady by the name of Cathy and said I must check my e-mail. I was so shocked that they needed an extra amount of R4680 which was for two camcoders. They said these were the customs fees and I should pay to have my order delivered. I refused because that was not mentioned in the first place.

Days went by still having not received my order. I then received a call from a bank representative asking about a certain transaction and what it was for, which I explained. He further asked if I the order has been delivered and I said no. He said they has received many complaints from people regarding FLAMES APPLIANCES and I have actually been scammed. I thought he was joking because he phoned on the 01 April 2016 and I said to myself it's APRIL FOOLS DAY. To date I've never received my camera or even be refunded my cash.

These people are preying on our finances. LET US BEWARE and BE EXTRA CAREFUL of ONLINE PURCHASES.
