Beware of scammer Daniel Goosen or Local PC repair man

Beware of this scammer apparently named Daniel Goosen. He provides fraudulent company docs and sells electronic devices slightly cheaper so you get interested. Demands that you pay him via spar or money transfers and his excuse is that he can't have money for second hand products in his account. Luckily I got suspicious and due to the fact that I work in a logistics company (he is based in Port Elizabeth) I offered to ask my driver to pick up from him, he said not possible since he is working different provinces everyday. He gives fraudulent details and a fake esquire account so that you can apparently pay for things via him. Many people have reported him unfortunately he doesn't get caught. Please beware as he seems legit but when payment is done he vanishes. There is an ongoing fraud case in Port Elizabeth for him but as usual our police isn't up to scratch. His email address is localpcrepairman@outlook.com and he has fraudulent company documents in the name of Local PC repair man / repairman. Please be vigilant as he is extremely good and has scammed one person of R150 000.

Yip, He's still at it even now (Nov-2016). I was on the verge of giving him money but then came across this forum -Thank you. But take heart guys, this man/women will be caught soon. They always get caught. But we have a responsibility to GET THE WORD OUT, to make people more aware. This is a valuable lesson to me, TO NOT ALLOW MY GREED TO TAKE OVER.

No point in opening a case, there are many cases opened but police does nothing as usual, the most you can do is probably get a private investigator as this guy seems to work around the fact that there are no police.

I also got scammed by this Daniel Johannes Goosen. As I am at work and very busy I do not always have the time to go into an in-depth background check of the person I am dealing with. I did speak to him on the phone and he answered all my questions, thus, I had no reason not to trust him - He did provide me with some information that I think may be useful: http://local-pcrepairman.webplus.net/ - his "company" web address. Also check out the "contact us" section: http://local-pcrepairman.webplus.net/contact-us.html - I'll be opening a case with the police. If anyone does manage to find the whereabouts of this person, please contact me by leaving a comment on this thread, if the police does not find him first. All I want is 5 minutes alone with this arrogant piece of shit.

Yes in fact they are, I have been defrauded before regarding a computer and as i was busy did not even bother to look up credentials, long story short got sent to an address in JHB, phoned police to report about 2 MINUTES AFTER DELIVERY AT SAID ADDRESS unfortunately they said I NEED TO GO TO JOHANNESBURG OFFICE AND REPORT AND OPEN A CASE which is ridiculous as it will take a day to go through at least let alone get to that address, scammers know that police are lazy and take advantage of that as obviously if they came within 15 mins of said address and not complaining that they cant do nothing they would have caught the guy with my computer. After being scammed i did a lot of research and discovered there's thousands of cases but just no one bothered to take it up and that is how it continues. Basically unless you take the law into your own hands the recovery of money and products is so slim it is basically zero. It is the reason why there is such a huge amount of fraud and they just don't get caught, only use different identities and if it is going to be this hard just to get the police to do their job then your money and products are basically gone.

Tried to get assistance from police, as usual useless, apparently I must open a case in Port Elizabeth when I am in Durban. Glad to see people are aware, please share and circulate this throughout social media and make people aware of what this man can do.
