African Camera Safaris is posing as a legitimate Camera Seller. They claim to have an office in Pietermaritzburg, they import cameras and it is delivered via Delivery Link Express to your door . All correspondence seems legitimate , even the tracking number that is supplied via Delivery Link Express seem legit. The "problems" start when you actually paid for an item, then they start with claiming that there is hold-up's and incorrect paperwork from their UK office and that occurred with your order while shipped from the UK and your're asked to pay one fee after another to release the parcel from Customs in Cape Town.
I came about another article on this website of exactly the same incident and this is when I finally realized that I was taken for a ride. I have stopped a payment I made (recalled it) to their account after I realised it was a scam and immediately went to Capitec bank (On 3 September 2016) to report that this organization or person is using a Capitec account for fraudulent activities. I await their response in this regard still. I would not want others also to be caught like I have been caught. Feel free to contact me if you have any queries.
