I also received this Nokia N9 promotion. What I don't understand is what do these scamsters hope to achieve. We do not have to give banking account details or the like so how would or could this affect us.

It's called bait and switch. They lure you in with promises of some rich pay off...but theres a tiny problem. It seems the Customs Dept won't allow shipment unless you provide insurance coverage. Please forward X dollars to guarantee your prize delivery. etc...etc...
