Work from home

I applied for a "Work from Home" job that I found on the internet - typing of reports, minutes, letters, etc. I received a reply from a lady, Sonja Palframan, explaining all the details and that I had to pay a fee of R180.00 for a training manual. I thought that there was a possibility of this being a scam but the information sounded very genuine. When I received the training manual today, there was no mention of typing of reports, minutes, etc but rather placing the same advertisement as the one I applied for, with all the same replies as the ones I received. I could change the amount to as much as I wanted for the "training manual" - so people are applying for this job and all they have to do is advertise on a few sites and reap an amount of anything from some unfortunate people. This most probably works like a pyramid scheme? So people, be warned - I saw the same thing on a facebook page earlier today, which made me report this scheme.

    Hi G9Dip

I told her that I am not prepared to have the police knocking on my door when people pitch up to claim their money back as this was a number 1 scam - I am surprised that she's still advertising this so called "business". She also kept telling me to pay quickly, just as she did you and I told her what I thought of her manual.

Thank you Elizeha for reporting this! I also came across this opportunity a few months ago and thought something was not right - you know that gut feeling you get when something is off. So recently I came across the mail again and thought to revisit the idea. What made me suspicious was she kept saying I should make payment today and the database would delete me if I did not pay today. After the 4th time that she said pay today I thought this HAS to be a scam. I asked for her website address which looked skimpy and fake and when I googled One Time Solution the company didn't exist. I am always weary of pyramid schemes where you have to repost the same ad that you replied to and am so glad that you have confirmed my suspicions. We need to warn everyone about people like this!!!

Noooo, don't join!! You are not supposed to pay anything when applying for a job like this. I see these types of advertisements all the time and stay very far away from them. Sonja Palframan is very insistent that one should register and pay very quickly so please be careful when dealing with her, if it is a woman. Who knows?
