I agree with you. This is the email I received ----- Forwarded Message ----- From: Absa Debit Order Confirmation daniel.campher at ib.absa.co.za Sent: Tuesday, 20 November 2012, 5:47 Subject: Debit Order Service Confirmation Dear customer, Debit order ending #28061 from Old Mutual Life Assurance has deducted your monthly payment. Login here to stop the order if you are not satisfied. Kind Regards Absa Digital Banking Services. I have never even heard of this company and have no account with Old Mutual Life Assurance and certainly no direct debit order. I am sure it is a scam to obtain your bank account details. Please delete this message as soon as you receive it. This is a South African company and says it is an affiliate of Barclays Bank UK. But I think that is false. My advice is to destroy the message without even opening the email to read. Never know if there is some virus attached to it or it leaves cookies on your machine. 24/11/2012
