Mobmatic Scam


As Quoted to them:"Please contact me urgently.  You subscribed meillegally onto a service and deducted this service money of my account.  Iwant this to be corrected immediately and my money refunded before the end ofthis week, 3 August 2012.Over R200 have been charged in July without me even using mydata card.  Where do you come from just taking money from people. This is going to the media and Hello Peter if this is not sorted outNOW!.  I don't know who you are and who gave you the right to just takemoney from me for something I never subscribed to. I never authorised anything or up to this stage do not even know what subscription this is or where it came from.RegardsHanno Vermeulen083 636 7737"

    I have the same problem, have cancelled and am still getting billed. These money thieves need to be stopped

    Yes MobMatic supposedly cancelled my subscription as well with all the confirmation emails and SMS message. However I still got billed and additional R200 plus on this months invoice. I am in the process of taking on Cell C for leaking my personal information and allowing this billing to occur as nowhere on contracts it states that they can add additional services to your account. MobMatic even send me a PDF report for when I activated the service. It was done from a Sumsung Phone. I never even owned a Samsung phone in my life. The SIM is actually used in my Data Dongle for internet access. I do not know what we can do, Any update from any of you.

    Same thing happened to me only just discovered it and this is the second time. Can someone tell us how to have this company banned altogether.

    Same happened to me.would realy like to know what happened to your complaint, Hanno. It is absolutely rediculous. They stole more thanR600 from me.

    The same happened to me. I discovered it yesterday and went to the MTN help desk. They phoned Mobmatic and requested with a indifferent, almost friendly voice to unsubscribe my nr. Mobmatic/Oprah did and even confirmed with an sms! MTN could not advise on how to prevent this from happening again or if they are going to do something about it. I am speechless.
