After exchanging about 20 e-mails with a certain person by the name of Dean Denver, e-mail address cdl@live.co.za and cell phone number 084 3255 503, it was my intention to buy two cars from him of which he has forwarded me pictures (as well as other cars). I made arrangements to fly to Durban to collect the vehicles and then he phoned me and advised me that he and his driver will leave Durban in the early morning of 25th July 2012 and that I had to meet them at the Lanseria Airport where they would deliver the vehicles to me. He was such a convincing person that I eventually paid an amount of R6,000 into his Absa Bank account. I drove down to Durban on 25th July 2012, spent almost R2,000 on diesel, paying for the toll gates and all the way talking to him on the phone. He spun me a story that the one car the tyre bursted and that I had to deposit money so that he can send someone to fetch a new tyre. I did not do this as I was feeling uneasy. We drove to Durban then back to Harrismith and then to Warden and then back to Harrismith again, all in an effort to find him where he said he was! At about 2pm the same day, all my calls to his number went straight to the voice box and it would not even accept any more messages as the voicemailbox was full. I have now continuously been trying to get hold of this skelm, but his cellphone keeps on kicking over to message mode. Please can anyone tell me what I should do to get hold of this bloke and how? |
