Mobmatic illegal subscription on Cell Phone Accoun

I recieved an sms a few nights ago saying that I was subscribed to Mobmatic for R7 per day. I was shocked to see this sms and thought it has to be some sort of Scam I decided to phone Vodacom to see if there was anything being billed to my cell phone everyday. To my suprise I do have an amount of R7 going off my account each day. Vodacom said that they could not tell me how long this had been going on but it was best to contact Mobmatic to cancel this service attached to my cell number.

When I call Mobmatic they confirmed that I have been a subscriber since June 2011??? ......How!!!!!!
I have nothing that comes to my cell phone.... I dont even use Blackberry Apps???
How can a company simply take money off your account with out your knowledge and no service provided!!!

I am horrified that I have paid about R3000 for something I have never recieved... Looking at the web and Hellopeter it is clear that this is not an isolated case!!!!!.... It seems this company is illegally attaching subscriptions to unsuspecting cell phone users accounts. Something needs to be done to stop organisations like mobmatic from operating!
