The Incident |

At 2:30 AM I was woken to the sound of the glass door leading to the deck being kicked in by three men. The first man assaulted my friend who had rushed upstairs by hitting him on the head with a gun. The man with the gun kept shouting " where is the cellphone!" whilst the other two men ransacked the house stealing a Tablet, handbag, wallets, camera etc. This incident followed a [ silent ] break in that previous Thursday night when it was discovered that cell phones, camera and laptops were missing. The thieves RETURNED again on the Thursday after the second robbery effectively removing the lock on the slam lock door.. Yes it's possible. My life and state of mind has ben changed dramatically. I have lost money, faith and hope. I am sick and tired of being told top go for counseling and being expected to "get over it". The Simon's Town police sent no less than TWELVE individuals - detectives/ police plus the Captain and Brigadier. I have been to the police station twice to help with identikits. Perfect finger prints were found. I have had NO response or feedback from the police to date. |
