Car installment take over

I saw a advert for a honda jazz to take over installments , i contacted the advertiser and sent through all the documentation he wanted , he informed me that i was approved and that i should pay a holding deposit for the car to be delivered , which i then did , he phoned me the day after to say everything is on track and that the driver will be delivering the car with all documents nd a contract that we have to sign and certify at the police station , he gave me his bank acc number for the installments and said i can either make a eft or arrange for a debit order every month. He emailed and phoned me back for 3 days , and after the 3rd day of waiting for the car to arrive and still nothing i went to the police and opened a case , i also went to nedbank where i deposited the money and was informed by the manager that the account was in the advertisers name and that my deposit is reflecting. Thay will send the case to the investigating team . But it is now a week later and no one has contacted me yet ,

? I saw a advert for a Toyota Fortuner to take over installments , i contacted the advertiser Cars for all in Table View Cape Town and sent through all the documentation they wanted , they informed me that i was approved and that i should pay a holding deposit for the Fortuner to be delivered ,I suspected something wrong as their stories did not ad up. They wanted me to sign documents which on reciept they will fill in the vehicle details. They keep phoning me for a deposit. They don't want anybody to see the the vehicle as my friend was in Table View but I was told that I must pay the deposit first then only can we view the vehicle. Please be very carefull for this scam. I personally will make sure they never do this to anyone again.

Your case sounds similar to mine. Is there a chance that you will get your money back? Will Nedbank be able to help you?
