Man shot dead while sleeping in Mthatha


A 40-year-old man was shot dead at his home in Mthatha on Wednesday, Eastern Cape police said. Lieutenant Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela said the man was asleep in his bed at his home in Bityi, when an unknown suspect broke in and shot him at 1am. "He was shot four times in the upper body and died at the scene. His wife who was next to him was not hurt. "The suspect then fled on foot." Fatyela said the motive for the murder was not yet known. Nothing was stolen from the house and police were investigating.

    I believe the fundamental idea behind an investigation is to get to the trueth,the wife might be a victim of crime and at the sametime leads only point to her as our on prime suspect,She has a lot to explain.how did the suspect enter the house,what could have provoked the killing,and who stands to gain in this anything in this killing and lastly what did she do or say to escape the killing

    i think his wife has something to do with it, nobody can get into your bedroom killed somebody and leave the witness alive and unharmed.
