I am a  long time Diamond Trader and use Various online classifieds platforms to sell Certified diamonds to the public. An indian Gentleman named SUHAIL responded to my advert on the 13th of March and slowly gained my confidence over the next few days assuring me that his family had money and that he could afford ordering such a large consignment.firstly he wanted to pay by EFT , and I refused then he said ok cash is good but he will only go draw the money from the ABSA bank "next door" ONLY AFTER THE DEAL would he pay me!! After much deliberation and hesitancy I drove through to laudium from Johannesburg and met him and his Iranian "Businessman" Partner named PAUL who stays at 255 Pearl streest, Laudium)... at the Bayleaf takeaway restaurant ( dodgy place ), after about 5 minutes and while they were checking the diamond certificates and testing the stones 2 policemen strolled in, I had to ask to see their  ID, went to the Local laudium detective Branch. During this time Suhail paced up and down saying he has a previous conviction for dealing in uncut diamonds and yada yada yada...cut along story short....30 min later I was released but  "Suhail" literally ran away! with most of my stock of Black diamonds! When I tried to open a case the Indian detective said I need to "trust him" and he will get my stock back- 4 days later no stock and the number he gave is always on voicemail!!!I have opened a case and lodged a complaint with the IPID.Please Be careful- this seems to be his Modus oOpperandi as he has responded to a business contact of mine after the fact as well!he has various bbm numbers that he changes often and never publishes a pic of himselfthese are the current contact numbers I have for this Conmantel : 08126879720bbm 292CDE27bbm 22B34A19

I received this message at 01:53 this Morning, It is obviously a scam. The number they are sending the sms from is the first warning sign, predictably an organization will phone you if you have won a prize, they would not ask you to contact them, not to mention asking to purchase airtime or anything else for that matter. Ask yourself the question if you have entered such a competition, the answer would be obviously not. Asking you to make a payment into their personal bank account is ridiculous, if you don't realize that it is a scam by then I don't know what will. I hope that either RICA, South Africa's Network operators or the Police department will take matters in their own hands... Sending me unwanted messages is deformation of my privacy and I would like to know where they get my personal cellphone number? Here is the message I received: Congratulations! Your No. has won R 250,000.00 in the Nokia yearly promo held in UK. Ticket No. SA/Nk061P. Call Mrs. Susan Patrick on 0784984080 for your prize.
