Received the same sms. I agree with you thato. I think it is RICA's responsibility to warn us.

i agree with you one hundred percent there man rica should do something about it they are the ones who forced us to register our sim cards and now they cannot even detect this crime or maybe they can they are just benefiting from it also this is a total disgrace from rica i think for anything that might happen they should be held accountable, because they should send messages to people to warn them about this kinds of behaviors

If all sim cards are reported to be RICA info based, then I am convinced that these people sending these so called Congratulation you have won prizes are people who work for RICA themselves. This would explain where they would get all the relevant details from. Someone is benefiting from this, and it certainly is not the "So Called Winners" Why cant the elite fraud task team nail these jokers. In a time when a lot of South Africans are battling to meet there financial commitments some desperate person would fall this scam. The results would be broken dreams of getting out of financial trouble, some might even turn to suicide finding that the last bit of hope they had was scammed away. These people who pull these scams should be brought to justice and should be ridiculed in public before being sent to prison. Shame on you white collared thugs..
