Cellspice illegally stealing money

Got an SMS from +2782004849043887 with the message "Reminder You are subscribed to Cellspice 4 New Videos Click http://bzm.tv/s/6FBDA2D9B2 Cost R7/day for help call 0213002831. To unsub sms stop to 43887.I have never subscribed to this - I saw it was a popular complaint on the internet and I then SMS's Stop to 43887 which cost me money (THEFT!!!!). I called Vodacom and they confirmed that I had already been paying the R7/day and they would help to unsubscribe me. This is daylight robbery, I am so angry, why is Cellspice still getting away with this?? Just goes to show how easy it is to steal someone's money. They should have been blocked by Vodacom by now as I see complaints about this from 2012!

Ook bij ons hetzelfde verhaal. Ik stel mij de vraag hoe het mogelijk is dat Proximus ons factureerd ,er zijn helemaal geen gesprekken of wat dan ook geweest.

Bloody he'll . Me too. Never opened any attachment or port on my phone ever. We need to take down or petrol bomb those bast Ards because government or cell company is doing nothing

The same here. Its nonsense and something should be done about it! What can we do? How can we rely on Vodacom to stop this?

Cell Spice has nailed me too - these guys are scumbags than run some sort of porn website. I have been paying the R7 per day for the last 6 months and only picked it up now - I never registered on their website - this was on a 3G account and not a cell phone. I agree that cellular service providers need some sort of way to prevent this from happening. and those lamos at cell spice should try working for a living instead of stealing.

This has been happening to me! I just noticed on my Vodacom bill at the back of every bill since December!! R300 scammed from my account.

I am in the same boat. I have never browsed the internet from my phone and given my phone number or even my email address out. How do these people get this right. It is criminal and fraud. I am disappointed That with all the complaints Vodacom has done nothing about this. VOdacom should protect their client base. If Vodacom does not do so I am going to change my service provider to someone else.

You guys can forget trying to deny the fact that you subscribed for this service. The fact that they sent you a reminder proves that they have followed a correct process that is stated on the WASPA code of conduct. Blaming cellphone networks won't get you far because you can action the subscription and only you can do that. An investigation can be done by your network provider about your sim being cloned but that results will come back pointing you.
