Hijacked car drag little boy to death

A four-year-old boy trapped by his seatbelt was dragged to his death behind a hijacked car in Boksburg, South Africa, leaving his traumatised mother screaming at the side of the road, police and media said Monday.
"Mommy help me," were the last words Chantel Morris heard from her panicked son Taegrin as he struggled to free himself before the car sped off with him hanging helplessly out of the door, Independent group newspapers reported.
Morris had loaded Taegrin and his eight-year-old sister into their VW Golf outside their grandmother's house in Boksburg east of Johannesburg on Saturday night when three hijackers held guns to her head.
"I asked them to let me get my children out, they could take whatever they wanted, but please let me have my children. I went to the back to pull out Taegrin," Morris said.
Her daughter managed to climb out of the car, but as Morris tried to free the boy from his seatbelt his foot became stuck and the hijackers sped off, ripping him out of her hands.
Morris and witnesses to the hijacking ran after the car screaming, but it did not stop. It was later found four kilometres away, with the boy's battered body next to it.
Police have offered a reward of 50,000 rand ($5,000) for information leading to the arrest of the hijackers.
South Africa has some of the world's highest rates of violent crime, and carjacking is common.

This makes me sick to my stomach and very sad. I was looking forward to my holiday in South Africa next week and only decided to read because too many people told me to be careful with the escalating violence. I know so many South Africans and all are beautiful people, I didn't realize the level of violence. My son is 6 and when I read this I felt nothing but sorrow for the grieving family. I don't believe in violence, but my God I would want this S.O.B. dragged to his death. I truly hope that mom/dad get their day with him.

My heart bleeds for this family :((((( As a mother and just a human being I am totally and utterly sick to my stomach after hearing about this incident. These hijackers have no regard for human life, none whatsoever. Since there's no death penalty in this country I suggest handing these criminals, low life bastards over to this beautiful young boy's family. Please let them record how they torture and kill these bastards (out of respect for the readers keeping my profanity in check) and air it on television to make examples out of these animals. Violent crime is out of control in this country. Let us the citizens of South Africa, the victims of South Africa, help the police in their execution of judgment against such vile worthless scum because in the end WE are the ones that suffer and have our lives changed forever. Give us the power to fight and kill (in the same manner as they killed that sweet child) these heartless bastards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
