Fraudulent buyer - Carlos Govender

We found a "buyer" for a vehicle and he arranged pickup by his :mechanic after "paying" the full price. We received a confirmation of the payment from the bank.
The courier phoned the next day to say that the courier fee had not been paid and he was returning the vehicle.
The buyer's account had been frozen and obviously the money was not transferred. Luckily the courier did his job properly and the vehicle was returned. Do not sell to this man as he will not pay.

I posted an add to sell my PS3 on OLX and I got a response within 10 minutes of the add going live, and then a bidding war started, so MR CARLOS GOVENDER won and we did the transaction and I received a notification from a supposed ABSA account for the money transfer. The transaction is Fraudulent. The notification sms originated from a 084 number yet the ABSA number is a 082 number, luckily i spotted this minor difference and told the buyer where to go fish. Please pay attention to this has he was very insistent on having the goods delivered ASAP as he was travelling and he would arrange his works to do the pick up. Tips: Check the notification number and call the originating Bank to confirm whether its a genuine number, Don't deliver the goods until you have the cash at hand. Be vigilant, if its too good to be true its probably not true.
