I was contacted by Desmond Hayward on Facebook about a month ago. We started chatting and he was such a charmer that I really started falling for the man. Then last week he told me that his son was in a terrible accident in the UK and he needed money to send over for his son to have a life saving operation. Of course I was in tears, because I believed everything he told me. I sent him R17,000-00 over the course of a few days. Yes, that much. I can't believe it myself, but that is what I did. He then started demanding more and more money and seeing that I sent all the cash I had on hand, I have been trying to make him understand that I don't have any more to send. He came up with so many different ways for me to get hold of more money and that made me suspicious. I started my own little investigation and found his pictures and all details on scamwarners.com. Of course by then it was too late already. I just want to know if there is any way of trying to get the money back, or of getting this mad person off the streets.
