3 years of complaints and court orders

Go and see https://www.facebook.com/NoiseControlSA?ref=bookmarks for all the details. NB See the notes under that page. Also join (like) the page.We are now proceeding to the High Court for a declarative order accompanied by a mandamus and an interdict in terms of the Noise Control Regulations, various other Acts of Parliament and the Criminal Procedure Act supported by the latest case law from the High Court and Appellate division. All the indications are there that there is massive ignorance on the part of SAPS, municipalities and the liquor board regarding Noise pollution Control. Most still clings on to an old antiquated and outdated system. When businesses are involved, there is normally corruption in the picture too, especially when there is a resistance to dealing with noise complaints after they have been made aware of the current state of the law. Please go and join that page and keep track of the latest court case. It should serve as the next level of precedent in such cases and especially in respect of claims for damages, where trauma, injury and consequential losses against the authorities (SAPS, Liquor Board, Municipality) landlords and their tenants are concerned. Ours is a classic case where they pushed the victimisation and other campaigns against those that complain too far.
