I updated my ad for drumkit for sale last week on 15/09/2014, and received a call within a 10 seconds afterwards, from an interested party. I was told that he is very interested, by the name of Chris Daniels, and he will make the transfer immediately, and that I have to take off my add from the website as he will definitely be taking the kit. Arrangements were made, that he will transfer, and as soon as I receive notification from the transfer from Absa to my other bank transfer, he will require my address for a courier to come and pick up the kit accordingly. Well, within 5 minutes I received a notification from "NEDBANK" (strange) that I received the amount, received a call and Chris wanted my address. I then informed him, that I would only give my address, once my bank sent me a notification. He told me that if this was the arrangement, he would not have made the transfer, and that his notification should be sufficient, I told him, that I will with pleasure re-transfer as soon as monies cleared in my account. I was then curtly told "ok fine". And he hung up. Suffice to say, no notification of monies came into my account. As if this is not enough to report on its own, one week later, I received email notification from OLX to "bump up" my ad, as it is nearing expiration. I did, and wouldn't you know, within a minute yet another interested buyer. Coincidence, I think not. They obviously have some sort of notification setting upon which to pry on ads just placed or other. Kindly look into this asap. Numbers I was called from: 1st: 0603899103(Chris). 2nd 0726168987 - I did not entertain this call for more than 2 minutes, so I did not take any names.
