Woodford Car hire


Hi,

I hired a car with Woodford car rental last Thursday from King Shaka International airport. The reference number was:101658.

Its been a week, and my R4000 deposit has still not been refunded.

I write to them but got not response.

Beware when dealing with these guys, and dont be deceived by the link to Hellopeter which they have on their site, which only shows positive reviews. Go onto Hellopeter and you will see how many peoples deposits were not refunded. This is not an isolated case.

When writing a report of them on Hellopeter, they fraudulently reply that the matter is clarified and sorted. However, this is not the case.

If you want to loose sleep, deal with these guys. Otherwise, there

    Hello,

    Woodford has acted fraudulent with me as well. I returned a woodford car on january 12, 2017 in perfect conditions and they told me that the refund would occur within 48hours. However, 2 weeks later they have not refunded and sent me en email saying that woodford will charge R8000 (approx USD500) for damages (that have not occured).

    I called Cape Town Office and I am trying to have my money back. What did you do? Did you sue woodford?
