All I can say, treat the abusers the same as what they have done - tie them to a railway line, but do not save them before the train comes! That way they will be removed from society entirely and will not get a second chance. Pardon for sounding so heartless, but I am a serious animal lover and have much more compassion with animals than humans. God give us animals to brighten and enhance our lives and once we take in an animal, we make a vow to God that we will take care of them.

I assist African Tails and had the horror of rescuing an abused animal from Joe Slovo last year. The owner had tied a wire around the poor dogs neck and had, over a period of years, tried to slowly strangle the dog to death. He couldn't care less when I finally managed to catch the dog. He was put down and I was devastated. We need THE HARSHEST punishment for these horrific crimes! rIP to all these wonderful animals who have been so badly abused by "humans".
