Tossing smoking cigarett bud
On19.08.2011 at 08:12, I witnessed a lady tossing her smoking cigarette bud out of her car, a White Renault Scenic, licence number CF172863. This took place on Race Course Road between St John Road and Tygervalley Road, direction towards Tygervalley Road.I hooted at the lady driver to make her realise that she was seen and she waived back in the rearview mirror.

I myself am a smoker, and find it disgusting when people toss their cig.buds out the car window. There should be a bye law and it should be implemented...a stiff fine should do the trick ie R150,00 first offence, R500,00 second offence, R1500,00 third offence and so on. This money can be used to upgrade roads.
