attempted computer fraud

I received a phone call from a lady with a heavy easter accent, but very fluent English (?Chinese), saying she is calling from Californa in connection with computer infections. She then prcede guiding me through:right-click "My Computer", then Choosing "manage". Under Manage she asked me to open "Event Viewer", then "Appilcation". She had me look at numbers of errors hereunder (all the same source and no evidence of a second computer, which might indicate "hacking", in my limited opinion), and the same under "System". Then she asked me to return to my desktop (!) and open "Google". She tried to indicate to me the URL, but had it wrong since I am using the SA-Google syte to connect. Then she proceeded to ask me to delete that URL and type in "" and proceed, which I did, since my WOT indicated a safe surfing site! But, when it opened I immediately noticed it was a site for remote computer access! I caught her intention to hack my computer immediately! She asked me to proceed to the green button in the middle "Start working with AMYY Admin (its for free)", but I told her I am refusing remote access. At firs she did not understand me, so I repeated I am not allowing her to remote access my computer! She asked me if I wanted to loose my "Windows", which I never even admitted to her to be using other than the feedback she asked when using "My Computer". She hang up immediately! This was the most blatant attempt I have ever heard of to hack someone's computer, with their presumed consent. If anyone can trace the origin of the phone call made to my telephone number at the address box, you will have a person skilled in misleading people in an attempt to use their computers for fraudulent purposes. Please stop them!
