The financial manager of Teazers strip club was arrested on Monday on a
fraud charge, Gauteng police said.
However, the arrest is not connected to the murder of Teazers owner Lolly Jackson.
Lieutenant-Colonel Eugene Opperman said the man arrested by the organised crime unit of the police.
"He allegedly diverted payments to outsiders to his own account," said Opperman.
He was due to appear in a commercial crimes court in Johannesburg soon, but the day had not yet been confirmed.
"But I want it made abundantly clear that he has got nothing to do with Lolly's murder," said Opperman.
Jackson was shot dead in Kempton Park last month.
At the time police said they were looking for a man called George Smith, but Opperman said that investigation was still continuing.
