Cape Town - A woman handed herself over to police after stabbing her husband to death in Somerset West on Saturday, Western Cape police said. The 42 year-old woman from Sir Lowry's Pass stabbed her 42-year-old husband during an argument at their house shortly after 11:00, spokesperson Suzan Jantjies said. She then handed herself over at the police station. A police vehicle was dispatched to the house, where they found the man had died. Four of the couple's six children were in the house during the incident and have received trauma counselling, Jantjies said. The woman will appear in the Somerset West Magistrate's Court on Monday on charges of murder. - SAPA
