Pet Fraud

We purchased a French Brittany from "Jorge" off a site called we were really excited and they did a good job of making us feel like they really had a puppy. I supposed the first flag should have been when they told us that we had to do a EFT and first tell them which bank we are with. They then sent us the banking details and we paid them R3000. They told us they would arrange to have the dog couriered to us from Richmond in Northern Cape. We then got and email from Pet Taxi Services, telling us that the crate was not temperature controlled and that we needed pay R5050 to use theirs and they would then refund us R5000 when we collected the puppy from the airport, we were suspicious so I called 2 vets and a company that couriers pets for my vet to over seas. The guy there confirmed that they had heard of these guys and that it was a scam. There is not such thing as a temperature controlled crate, any crate would work. We are now minus R3000, and have three very unhappy children as they were looking forward to their new puppy. What a pity that such evil people exist in this world. I hope they rot in hell.
