I recently visited a farm in the Montague/De Doorns area where the farmer is blatantly using carbamates (Temik or Two-step as it is known) to poison animals that are catching his sheep. Unfortunately my dalmatian dog also succumbed to carbamate poisoning on the farm after accidentally ingesting some poison. Carbamates have been taken off the market completely and this farmer is clearly buying it on the "black market". It is also highly illegal to set poison on a farm as per the Animal Protection Act. The farmer's name is Hennie de Kock on the farm Sandvlei. Do not go there.
