Fraud by Internet proof of payment, maquee theft

The so-called Pastor Jerome IsaacsUsed the following details to claim his order for our event rental servicesmobile: 081 431 9778email: ID: 7206295540087He made up a fake Standard bank Internet Proof of payment without Proof of Reference to the transaction; many indiscrepencies were picked up on the so called proof of payment which came to our attention afterwards the crime has been committed. The value of the rental service came to R8,500.00The accused is believed to be in the Phillippi, Nyanga are where he poses as Pastor Jerome Isaacs. He enquired about a marquee for 200 people to be erected at Shoprite Centre in Philippi between 1-3pm on 13 Feb 2015. We got in a third party to take on the said work and the suspicion was immediately raised when they arrived on site when nobody was on site to represent the said Pastor. When the marquee team just left site the said pastor called me on my mobile to ask that they return, the apparent person who had to be on site was just around the corner and our team did return. The accompanied pointed out the position of the tent to be erected, not exactly at Shoprite Centre. No security or perimeter fencing was provided by the Pastor as he signed for it on the contract; this raised further suspicion as the tent was erected as we call a "red-zone". Eventually when the marquee was up it stood on site without anyone making use of it pitching to claim that it is there for their purpose of development. The local Police cam by several times to warn us that tents were raised there in the past and taken down by other, meaning stolen, and the perpetrators were never located. Come Monday, Tuesday the following week, no funds were transferred to the given account; also, there seems to be no link between the ID of the person submitted and the name with the bank involved. We were caught out because we took the position of a Pastor seriously and did not check the credentials of the caller in question. The Saturday, 14 Feb 2015, the marquee company had enough interactions with the Police raising suspicions and the fact the pastor is not showing face on site was a big concern; The marquee was lowered on Saturday between 4-5pm not without resistance; on-lookers were closing off the streets where the marquee was located not allowing the driver and his staff to get off site; the police was called in again, at a fee, to remain on site while the marquee was broken down and the team was sent packing with the Police ahead and behind them!!

A William Chauke scammed a family member this morning. Responded to an OLX advertisement for second-hand goods in Johannesburg. Appears to have used a commercial SMS service to send a fake ABSA payment confirmation and collected the goods. Same vehicle as Flash1 - white Bakkie, JVL103GP, 3 bm. Has also now "erroneously" deposited a cheque for a large amount - trying a double-whammy scam I guess.
Decent quality video footage available if anybody wants it.

A Quinton (yet to confirm the Isaacs) on, just got away with another age old fraudulent EFT scam, with our business based in Johannesburg East Rand. I had the pleasure of talking to him on the phone, a truly nasty racist piece of work. From his accent I would not have said he was a colored man but i may be wrong
Details as follows. Cell no 061-439-2596, Usshar Projects, goods collected by 3 bm in a white bakkie reg JVL 103 GP.
The SA ID number 7206295540087 quoted in previous comments doesn't seem to be related.

Once again I was called by these people, I would like everyone to be so careful when receiving calls like this. ALWAYS use google , this is one way to ensure that you know what's going on out there , especially small businesses like us. I called Pastor Jerome back and told him he will go to HELL one day!!

We are his latest victims ....after a last minute order requested for furniture hire on Friday we scrambled to get the order ready. Waited on proof of payment which duly arrived from Absa.We delivered to a dodgy address in Phillipi and noticed there was no security guard or contact person to deliver to. We contacted him and he said he would send the guard. There was and still is a tent erected at the location today 20 April. He then sent a "security guard." We arrived this am to collect , of course no sign of him , not answering and the clanger the cash not reflecting in our account! So R50K loss to us...never trust anyone in this province ! Only deliver when the money is in your account! When they pose as pastors or people in the Lords service, like in church , let this be your first warning bell!
